Today is the last day for CBL (Challenge Based Learning) in Cempaka School after five days putting their efforts together they have done a very good job. I'm glad that the students were really worked hard and cooperated each other in their own group. Myself and two more teachers (Miss Nadra and Mr. Keeton) were assigned to facilitate Year 8 Terra. There were all good students so not a big problem to handle the students.
CBL is where students learn how to create a site and essential questions, do finding and analysis, research methodology, and application of . It reminds me back in my old days in the university how I did my thesis. CBL is just like doing a thesis where you have to do survey, interview, research etc. It also helps students to become more independent and challenge their thought. I hope this program will be continously organised from year to year as it is very essential enhancing learning skill and develop a critical thinking.
